Good but

custom Food only with calories... Sorry i cant use it without the other nutri facts.

Review & feedback

Would be good to have more details with the nutrition of each product, as well as with the daily energy % would be good to know how many calories are coming from each segment. The programs gets stuck quite regularly when looking for food or exercise options. Otherwise ok

Rather useless for me...

If you use Perfect Diet (which I like a lot), you will be utterly disappointed by this app. Weight is not syncing, no statistics... for me it was a waste of money.

Massive flaw

I was happy with the Mac version, but the mobile version WILL NOT SYNC DAILY DIARY. What I thought would be a great way to track my food by being able to sync the two programs and devices has turned out to be an utter waste of money, I hope they fix this major syncing issue a.s.a.p.

Excellent but definite problem w/sync

Highly recommend this in conjunction with Desktop version. Update:July 23 Still waiting for a fix. There is def a problem w/this app. Sometimes it syncs w/Desktop & sometimes it hangs even though it`s found the Desktop.Hope they can fix this. Downgraded to 4 because of that.

Needs work

This app still has a long way to go before it can be considered fully working. The interface leaves a lot to be desired and the database is missing some very basic food items. Also, the app itself is very unstable on iOS and frequently fails to sync, freezes during input etc. For now, I would give it a 1.5/5.

Quality apps in LiveCode

This app is a great example of how quality, professional looking apps can be created in a development environment called LiveCode. LiveCode uses a language which is a superset of Hypertalk (yes the original Hypercard language, only on steroids). Interface elements are created and placed much like the old Hypercard, and later Supercard and Metacard. This means that you can produce iStore applications using an easy to learn and understand language, without having to know anything about Java or C+. So now lets talk about the app itself. Notice the smooth scroll wheels, and other iApp controls. Everything is well spaced and well laid out. You are never overwhelmed with too many controls that make you think, "What is that doing there?" When you first launch the app, it takes you through an initialization process to get your age, weight, height and other factors which can affect your prescribed calorie intake and usage. This leads me to believe that there is logic that takes all of this into account. Notice also that you can search the internet for other foods not presently in the library. I found this extremely handy, not being limited to the database that came with the app. Then there is a place to enter various physical activities such as sports, with different levels of competition to fine tune your calorie usage. You can keep track of your weight and see a pie chart of your Carbs, Protein and Fat content in the foods you have eaten. This apparently is much more than a place to record what you ate and what you did. Tracker2Go has intelligent calculations about the food you eat and the kind of exercise you do, based on conventional health guidelines, making it an extremely useful application, without being cumbersome and unwieldy as so many apps tend to do. If you are good at using an application of this nature, then you will enjoy using this one.

Honestly I`m not impressed...

Really...?? It`s the same thing that is on all FREE diet trackers for the iphone/ipad minus some funky extras. The only reason why I bought it was because I thought I would be able to sync it up to the mac app they have called "my perfect tracker" and everything would be in sync. I love their mac app ...and if it synced up with that so that i would not have to write down everything and then enter it into my computer when i got home this would be worth the price, but by its self it is overpriced and useless. I don`t think i even used it more then 2 times after I found out it can`t sync, it`s a waste of time doing this twice.

Great

Easy to use. It provides the settings for major exercise, calorie tracking, and weight loss plan. Is not as interactive and comprehensive as the computer version. It would be perfect if the calorie, carb. tracking and profile were provided in grams not percentage

Best out there!

This app is the best out there! It is really accurate. Better than the ones u have o pay for.

Useless search function and wont sync

The record keeping has a good design but searching for the food items to log is practically nonfunctional. Be prepared to have to use google search, not the apps, and then enter all the nutrition and calorie info manually which is too hard to do on a phone. The search engine wont return results based on containing ALL the search words - so if you enter "Panera tomato soup" it will return every item that icontains the word " soup" and every item that contains the word "tomato" and every item that contains the word "Panera" There is no ability to return items that contain all three words, so the search results are useless and too long to find anything. Also, after 8 tries, Ive concluded the Sync doesnt work

Sync not functioning

I rarely offer reviews… but I just dropped $3 to purchase this app, so that I could continue tracking my intake and exercise on the road, but I cannot get the sync to complete (the iOS app "discovers" my desktop app on my home network, but it doesnt complete the connection). Im greatly annoyed, since I like the desktop app and wouldnt have bothered to purchase the iPhone app had I know the sync wouldnt function). I would prefer a functional Dropbox sync for the program.

Disappointed

The app itself is nice. But syncing between my computer and devices just did not work.

Mediocre

This app lacks the ability to adjust your calorie goals directly because it uses the obsolete BMI method instead of bodyfat percentage. To get my real metabolic rate in, I had to enter absurd body proportions. It also has an annoying click on some entries that you cannot mute. I will likely delete this. $3 wasted

My most used and favorite app

I use Tracker2Go in conjunction with Perfect Diet Tracker. Although a member of Weight Watchers I use Tracker2Go and Perfect Diet Tracker in lieu of the Weight Watcher apps. Ive lost 75 pounds and theyre the first apps I open in the morning and generally the last ones I close at night. The food and exercise databases continue to get broader and greater. I could go on endlessly about how much Ive learned about food and nutrition by using them. I love the apps. Best money Ive ever spent in an app.

So far it syncs with desktop version

I just downloaded both the Mac and iPad versions. I made entries in the Mac version and had it sync easily with the iPad version. Now all I have to test is if I can make entries in the iPad version and have it sync as easily the other way. But, when you add a food not in the database all you can add is the name and calories. You cannot add carbs, protein, or fat. For me, sorry I bought it. If I were rating it for the first time, I would down grade it to only 2 stars.

Decent app but big problem

This app is great if you only eat fresh foods ALL the time like 4oz of meat or 4 oz of rice for example but when you are out and you purchase a custom meal like a chicken wrap then you must create a custom food diary for it. Unfortunately you can only add the amount of calories for custom foods! You cant add the protein carbs and fats.. Pathetic $3 wasted. Food is nothing without macronutrients and off course micro. This is also a problem because the program does add up all the macronutrients except the custom food diaries(since we cant add them as i previously mentioned) which makes it so ironic and incomplete.

Tracker to go

Great app for tracking food intake. Syncs easily with MAC and other IOS devices with no hassle.

Update problems

After update app wont open. Customer service app didnt work either. Tried to reinstall and that didnt work, so months of data was lost.

Tracker2go

Nice app but even using Internet search, it cant find a lot of common products. Also, weight cannot be recorded in increments. It has to be rounded up or down, which is frustrating when youve lost .5 pounds.
