Ive tried many others but yours excels by combining surprising restaurant entre calories etc. with easy entry daily and graphics to reinforce my painfully slow progress!! Thanx
This app is awesome! My favorite one! You can even use it when youre not on wifi.
I think its great I really live it and its easy and convenient.
It needs improvement on the portion category for foods. I like all that it does otherwise. It needs attention on editing as well. Needs vast improvement on food types as well. This app can become terrific with some more work.
This app would be helpful if it would sync properly with the desktop version. As is, it is a pretty big nuisance. Writing stuff on paper and typing it into the desktop later would be more convenient.
The App store companion for this application is outstanding. This app has some issues So in March 2012 I reviewed this app and the desktop, I have not really used it because there was a long wish list I had. I can say the majority of those have been met but STILL the major killer that is missing which all other apps have, is a barcode scanner which access a database. WHY? should I input data when I can just scan it? Guys you clearly are listening but for the life of me I don’t know what your doing by leaving this most important feature out. I’ll put this app and mac app away and look again in about 6 months. I so want it to be a total package. Added one more star
Ive been using the desktop version for 3 months and love it. The sync between this app an the desktop version is great! I can add all my intake easily and quickly on the go. My favorites or "repeat offender" foods show up after typing just a few letters. The only thing stopping this from getting 5 stars is the custom exercise additions from the desktop version not syncing to the app. The only way I see them here is if they are added from the desktop, then sync. Fix it and get 5!
I really like how it syncs with the desktop version. I have used both Mac and Linux (Ubuntu) desktop versions and the iOS version syncs perfectly. The only issue I have with the iOS version is that one can only whole # values for weight while the desktop version lets I enter weight to tenths of pounds. I would have given it 5 stars if I could enter weight to tenths. The database is quite complete for the foods I eat. It is also easy to add foods to the database. Overall, I like the app and feel it is well worth the price.
cannot finish setup - freezes when "select country" radio button is selected.
I was looking for an app that would not send my personal fitness information to the web to be sold. This seems to fit that bill, but after downloading I cannot get past the setup screen; the app freezes.
Attempts to use the report a problem link returns this: "This domain is only used for internal use, sorry!” Hello Apple wake up you aren’t doing your QA! This app apparently needs updating. It gets stuck in the initial sync or returns an obtuse error relative to then DropBox sync. Not sure it is compatible with the Mac based app per the other commenter.
Nice to be able to do updates on my iPad with this app but I have several "grouped" meals set up on the desktop version of this app (Perfect Diet Tracker) and theres no provision for this on this iOS app.
How about fixing the bugs on Perfect Diet Tracker & Tracker2go so they could synchronize with each other. Since Apple upgraded it has not work and if you dont mind dont take too long
Doesn’t sync with mac version, so what use is it? Doesn’t sync with either Drop Box or Wi-Fi. You guys should fix this problem.
