So far it syncs with desktop version

I just downloaded both the Mac and iPad versions. I made entries in the Mac version and had it sync easily with the iPad version. Now all I have to test is if I can make entries in the iPad version and have it sync as easily the other way.

But, when you add a food not in the database all you can add is the name and calories. You cannot add carbs, protein, or fat. For me, sorry I bought it. If I were rating it for the first time, I would down grade it to only 2 stars.
