Tracker2Go Calorie Counting on the Move App Reviews

55 add

Meh

I like using it to count, but the graphs dont register custom entires. And the weight loss increments are a little strange when recording things like .5 pounds lost...

Great App

I really love this app. I would recommend it to my friends.

Scanner

Would love to see a scanner in the next update. Love this app tho

Good app

I like the app and it is helping me control what I eat. Happy to have it. I have recommend it to my friends.

Awesome app!

Love this app!

tracker to go

Like it. tracing carbs, protein, fat great. Wish it had a way to keep frequently used items in a database without having to retype every time. Its a good tool, tho.

Low Food choices

Good app. But many choices for food reference. You have to load a lot of stuff. Time consuming.

Syncs? Nope.

Waste of money. Will not sync with Dropbox to perfect diet tracker. Pretty much renders it useless.

More features required

I like the app in principle and its ease of use. However, having worked with other more mature programs in Windows environment there is big improvement potential in terms of analysis/charts and integration (Polar, Nike, Garmin). I hope the team has re plans.

Very handy set of apps

Ive been using this app to sync to Perfect Diet Tracker for about eight months. Ive lost 25 pounds in the process, and find being able to switch from recording meals on my iPad or iPhone, and having the data show up on my home computer or laptop through Dropbox is not only a timesaver, but makes it easy. If somethings easy, you will end up using it more often and to greater effect. The only negative with Tracker2Go is the number of clicks required to enter a food item. Once you enter the item, you move to another screen and have to click on "food," then the "search" window, clear the previous item with another click, then type your item. If you are entering multiple items, it would be handy to stay on that screen and not go back to "diary." Its great to be able to enter exercise, but I have the feeling that some of the calories-burned levels, especially for bicycling and walking, are a bit high. When I compare the calories burned on a bike ride recorded on Strava, T2G is almost double. I aim to keep using both programs.

Tracker2go

Great app but they could make it better. The iPad version tracks percentage and actual grams do each macronutrient. Easy to use and track your weight, calories and diet. They need a better way to input new foods rather than just calories without modifying the micronutrients. iPhone version does not give you number of grams for macronutrients, just a percentage which is poor. Overall good app, they need to be able to track more though e.g. cholesterol, saturated fat, sugar, etc.

B

Got this app. So I could search for calorie content of foods I am eating. Would be nice if the calorie counter would tell me the portion size and then let me tell it how many portions Ive had.

DropBox sync does work

I had trouble with DropBox sync originally. However, the developer was quite helpful and I learned that the name to use for DropBox in the iOS app is the user name in Perfect Diet Tracker, NOT DropBox. Once that was corrected it worked perfectly. Not as easy to add food items as the desktop app, and Im not sure about groups that Ive created yet, but it is certainly helpful for keeping track of things on the run.

Sync out of sync!

Until a couple of days ago, worked fine. I can no longer sync with confidence. Days drop out, diary gets added to wrong date. I am having to recreate what I ate 5 days Go...argh! Keep for health reasons and this is a huge problem. Will have to drop app and use desktop version only. Hope there is a fix soon!

Great Companion App for Perfect Diet Tracker

Works great with Perfect Diet Tracker!

Needs an update

This app used to be pretty good but there are better options. Being able to scan codes is a great time saver available on other apps. Sync with scales and exercise equipment would be nice. The app is well made but is tired and needs improvement.

Excited

Have had the desktop version for a while and just recently discovered the mobile version. Im excited about using the mobile so I dont have to lug my computer out of town or remember what I ate all day.

Tracker2go

When I used the desktop version I would always have to remember what I eat and what the length of time I exercised. With tracker2go it is easy to enter data on the go. Great app, I am looking forward to future enhancements such as ability to enter tenths of a pound for you weight and the ability to use food groups that are established with the desktop version.

Ok app, wish it had a scanner

This app is great because it has a desktop component. But, if it added the ability to scan barcodes to add to the database - now that would be perfection. For now, Ill stick with Fooducate.

Great app for tracking daily food intake. I love the ease of making the portions size adjustments. The totals and amount of calories left for the day are also wonderful. The tech support and response time is impressive. The good news is they are woking on improving this app even more...like the app retaining special food entries so you will not have to type them in every day. Thanks, Kristin
